Never Had A Dream Come True

A dark cloud resided over me,
Long ago, yet not so long ago,
There was darkness and tears,
My life had little joy.

A ray of sunshine broke through,
During those long winter nights,
At first I was blind to it,
Then it hit me, and I fully embraced it.

The day I confessed my love for you,
The darkness was lifted,
Those clouds disappeared,
A smile came through my tears.

For all those nights I prayed,
My prayers were answered,
I never had a dream come true,
Until the day you said "I Love You."

Every dream I ever had,
Has been accomplished,
I've found true love and support,
Finally someone who loves me for me.

My only wish left now,
